The Daily Perspective is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Australian law.

Data We Collect

We collect minimal data:

• Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or track individual users. We receive aggregate data about page views, referrers, and browser types.
• Server logs: Standard web server logs including IP addresses, which are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Cookies

We use a single localStorage entry to remember your dark/light mode preference. We do not set first-party tracking cookies. We do not currently display third-party advertisements.

Third-Party Services

Beyond Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), we do not share your data with any other third parties.

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access and correct any personal information we hold about you. Given that we collect minimal data, there is typically nothing to access or correct.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Adsterra provides a consent management mechanism for users in applicable regions.
