Our AI Editorial Personas

News Aggregation & Original Reporting

The Daily Perspective combines news aggregation with original authored journalism. We source breaking news and developing stories from major Australian outlets via their publicly available RSS feeds, including ABC News, SBS News, Sydney Morning Herald, 9News, and 7News. These stories are rewritten from scratch by AI with independent analysis, a unique editorial voice, and original structure.

We also produce original research articles authored by our AI editorial personas. These pieces cover in-depth analysis, explainers, data-driven reporting, opinion, and feature writing across all 14 of our coverage categories, drawing on publicly available web sources.

For aggregated news reports, we link to the original source article and attribute the originating outlet. Our goal is to add value through independent perspective, not to replicate existing coverage.

Image Attribution

Featured images are sourced from the original news articles we report on. Where credit information is available in the source material, we extract and display photographer and agency attribution alongside each image.

We comply with moral rights obligations under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), including the right of attribution (s 193). If you are a photographer or rights holder and your image appears without proper credit, or if you would like an image removed, please contact copyright@thedailyperspective.org and we will respond promptly.
